Born in Washington DC, I have been braiding hair since I was at least 8 years old. I acquired my first paying client at the age of 11! With over 35 years of experience, and in business for 26 years to date, I have learned important techniques and hair care through trial and errors. I have also designed my own technique of hair braiding called “Zippers” and “Babydolls “. This style has taken on a life of its own! I have one of the largest clientele in the DMV area.
